Hello All,

I am a student at Michigan Technological University and will be graduating
at the end of April 2011 with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management. I am
looking for a job anywhere in Florida, but would prefer it to be somewhere near
Gainesville. I am interested in any position that works with wildlife or
human-wildlife related issues.

I have many skills that could be used towards both field and lab research
including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, GIS software, as
well as program MARK. I know how to use GPS, Trimble, and a compass. Most of my
experience lies with birds (I am currently working on a small project under Dr.
David Flaspohler and Dr. Amber Roth). I can identify most northeastern US birds
by sight and sound and have experience identifying fish, insects, plants, and
mammals of northeastern US. I am eager to broaden my experiences working with
any wildlife and to continue to develop my skills with songbirds. I am a fast
learner and am adept at other activities like writing and photography, which
may be of use to research or other projects.

If interested, I can email you my resume, transcript, or references.

Thankyou for your time,

Elizabeth Burnett
