HUMBOLDT CHAIR IN GEOGRAPHY. 
The Department seeks an outstanding and distinguished researcher with a strong 
commitment to graduate education. Appointment will be at the rank of Professor. 
Established in 1997, the Humboldt Chair is endowed by a generous gift from the 
Henry J. Bruman Foundation. The endowment for the Chair provides funds that may 
be used for summer salary, research expenses, and/or graduate student support.
