Our Hydrogeology Lab at Michigan State University seeks one or two postdoctoral researchers and several graduate students for research projects funded by NSF, NOAA, EPA, NASA and the USGS, which focus on hydrologic modeling, watershed biogeochemistry, and climate change. Candidates will join an interdisciplinary team examining the influence of changes in climate and land use on water resources, coastal invasive species, watershed nutrient and pathogen transport, near-shore harmful algal blooms, and the sustainability of agricultural practices.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a related discipline, a demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Strong computer programming, GIS, remote sensing, and database management skills are desired. These one-year appointments can be renewed based on satisfactory performance. For more information visit http://hydrogeology.glg.msu.edu.
