We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the 2011 ARAV Annual
Conference with the
Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV), and the Association of Exotic Mammal
Veterinarians
(AEMV) in Seattle, Washington, USA. The conference is scheduled for August6-12,
2011, at the
Sheraton Hotel, Seattle, Washington. This year marks the second opportunity for
you to get all your
pet exotics CE at a scientific conference in one location.

The location of the conference in downtown Seattle, is one that all should
enjoy. Restaurants, and
attractions are great, and transportation throughout the city is easy.
Our conference theme for 2011 is “Reach New Heights” As the field of
reptile/amphibian, avian,
and exotic mammal medicine and surgery continues to expand, all of our combined
associations
hope to provide you with the knowledge and the fun that will make this the best
conference you
have ever attended!

The program format this year will contain cutting edge herptile, avian, and
small mammal lectures,
as well as Master Classes, and the popular “all species” roundtables. There
will also be Wetlabs and
Workshops presented over two days on topics all can use and will enjoy. We have
attempted to
stagger these, so as not to interfere with the other associations activities,
so you can enjoy as
many as you wish, and not miss any!

Those of you who have not presented in the past, especially veterinary
technicians, should
consider submitting a paper for 2011. We encourage submissions of
reptile/amphibian subjects
for the technician sessions, research, diagnostics, case reports, and knowledge
reviews. Please
visit the appropriate link on the conference website,
www.conferenceoffice.com/aav. Also visit the
ARAV website at www.arav.org.

Please complete the Call for Papers Application and return to the Conference
Office NO LATER
THAN JANUARY 26, 2011 . You may also submit your application on the internet at
www.conferenceoffice.com/aav. If you wish to receive more information on
presenting at the
Conference, contact the Conference Office at 303-756-8380.

See you in Seattle!
