Hanson Environmental, Inc. (http://www.hansonenvironmentalinc.com/), based
in Walnut Creek, California, has several full and part-time temporary
positions available for *fisheries biologists, field technicians, and boat
operators*, for a project involving tagging and releasing juvenile
salmonids.

● Location: Clarksburg County boat ramp

● Salary: $15 - $20 per hour depending on experience and responsibility.

● Hours: Typically 8 to 12 hours per day and will be scheduled around the
clock for some tasks.
-Biologists will have 12 hour day time shifts
-Boat operators are needed 24 / 7

● Individuals typically work five days per week but we will need to schedule
for all seven days.

● Dates: Tagger training will begin in late February (approximately Feb.
21), followed by the start of the project in the first week of March.  The
project will last approximately 45-60 days and will end around late April.

● Travel expenses: If individuals are coming from out of town, they are
eligible for $85 per day worked for lodging and $40 per day for per diem.

● Applicants will be hired as temporary employees without benefits.

● Experience in handling juvenile salmonids, small boat handling, and
previous field work would be advantageous.

● Boat operators need prior boat handling experience, but no certification
is required.  A background in biological sciences is preferable for the
tagger and assistant positions.
