I know this sounds like a joke, but I'm serious. What is the best way to preserve dried fecal matter (for display)? While I would like to preserve its present appearance, I realize that it may not be possible to do without making it look shiny (polyvinyl acetate), and I would like to do it myself with minimal apparatus.
