Hello All, On behalf of the Maderas Rainforest Conservancy I would like to inform everyone of the summer field course offerings at the LaSuerte Biological Field Station in Costa Rica and the Ometepe Biological Field Station in Nicaragua. For a complete schedule of the courses, go to:
http://maderasrfc.org/Maderas_Rainforest_Conservancy/Schedule_of_Courses.html For course descriptions and links to course syllabi, go to: http://maderasrfc.org/Maderas_Rainforest_Conservancy/Courses.html Hello ECOLOGers, For the course catalog, go to: http://maderasrfc.org/Maderas_Rainforest_Conservancy/Courses_files/MRC%20Cat.pdf Although college/university credit is not offered through the Maderas Rainforest Conservancy, the faculty teaching the courses will be glad to help arrange for college credit to be earned at your home institution. Feel free to request additional information through the Maderasrfc.org website or contact the faculty teaching individual courses directly for any course you are interested in. I personally am teaching a field course in herpetology (session 1), a field course in entomology (session 2), and a field course in general tropical ecology (session 3). Feel free to contact me about these courses or the program in general. This is a great opportunity to gain "real world" experience in a lowland tropical forest of Costa Rica. LaRoy Brandt
