• Utilizing 15NH3 as a tracer to examine the transport of ammonia over complex landscapes • Participate in a collaborative effort to determine deposition velocities for Nt, NOy, and NHx in Western New York • Contribute to the examination of N2O, NHx and NOy fluxes from switchgrass biofuel production • Join an interdisciplinary team estimating fugitive methane leakage from the hydrofracking process in the Marcellus shale We are looking for an interdisciplinary scholar who has a strong foundation in the calculation of eddy covariance and other micrometeorological-based techniques for assessing trace gas fluxes, and a working knowledge of the quantification of trace gases and their isotopes. Applicants must have a PhD in hand before beginning the position. The successful candidate will work closely as a team member of the Agriculture, Energy, and Environment Program (AEEP) at Cornell University.
