Job Announcement: The USGS Leetown Science Center (Kearneysville, West 
Virginia) seeks two Biological Technicians to assist with fish community 
sampling in trout streams in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation 
Area (New Jersey and Pennsylvania).  Duties will involve fish community 
sampling using backpack electrofishing gear and data entry.  Position 
duration: June 27 - September 16 (12 weeks).  Wage: $11.30/hour. 
Requirements: Degree or coursework in fisheries, wildlife, or related 
field preferred.  Applicants must be able to participate in strenuous 
physical activity.  Experience with fish electroshocking techniques and 
fish identification desirable but not required.  Applicants should hold a 
valid driver's license.
