M.S. Research Assistantship--- Appalachian Laboratory The Appalachian Laboratory (AL) of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) seeks a M.S. student to study the impacts of wind-turbine mortality on bat populations. The student will join a team of researchers (David Nelson, Stephen Keller, Ed Gates, Josh Johnson, and Matt Fitzpatrick) who are using stable isotopes, genetics, and geospatial modeling to understand the impacts of wind-turbine mortality on populations of migratory bats.
