Hello!

I'm seeking your opinions on which video analysis software is the best for
field analysis. I'm digitally recording 30 minute behavioral sequences of
prairie dogs in the field, then importing them to my PC laptop for vigilance
counts. I need a program that can zoom and rotocope for ease in identifying
individuals. I also need frame-by-frame progression and regression and an
in-frame timestamp. I'm looking to spend $100 or less, if possible.

I've looked into Adobe Premiere Elements, and it seems to be a good fit, but
I know the learning curve can be a bit steep with their products. Do you
know of a good alternative? Or, conversely, is Elements a good piece of
software for the price?

Thank you!
