Dear Ecolog members I am looking for papers studying oviposition habitat selection, where groups of larvae confined to the same habitat display biased aggressive/cannibalistic behavior towards unrelated conspecifics. I am especially interested in studies where the ovipositing females were indifferent to the identity of habitat occupants, or even preferred unrelated occupants. References for any taxa are welcome (e.g. amphibians, gregarious parasitoids, etc.). Please reply to my personal mail address. I will gladly share the replies I get upon request.
Thank you very much, Asaf
