Hi Johan!

I´ve been working with Reconyx PC-800 (or 900 I don´t remember the exact
reference, http://www.reconyx.com/hyperfire.php?model=PC&id=56) in the
lowlands of southestearn Peru, and that one has been really good for me! The
problem.. It´s no so cheap!! But, everything depend on your especific goals,
there´re cheaper ones that work good for example with mammals, but I just
know the performance in the field of the camera I mencioned and another
model of Reconyx (R60; http://www.reconyx.com/page.php?id=61); I recomend
both (better the first one), you just have to deal with the humidity that
sometimes affect the camera performance, but you can just use silica gel and
change it in the field everytime you need, and maybe try to make some kind
of ceiling or something to reduce the impact of the rain.

Jaime.
