[ECOLOG-L] Anyone know how best to measure fluorine and sulphur in soils?

  I have some samples of soils, gathered from a mountain in Japan naturally 
poisoned by volcanic gases. I'd like to measure levels of things like S and F 
in the soil, and i'm wondering if anyone knows of a good (fairly cheap) 
protocol for this. My colleague in Japan can use ICP-AES ... is this technique 
easy to use to measure S or F content of a soil?
