Hi Alyssa! The German-language ecological society is GfÖ (www.gfoe.org). http://www.stellenboersen.de/stellenboersen/spezial/biologie will give you an overview over existing job databases and search engines. A listserv for science jobs is http://jobs.uni-hd.de/. I recommend www.greenjobs.de, which is probably the most specific for "green" jobs and also includes non-academic jobs. www.jobvector.de is a more general science alternative. Search academics.de for academic jobs (usually requiring M.Sc. or PhD). You can also try the general job databases: monster.de, stepstone.de, jobpilot.de. In addition and depending on what kind of job you are looking for, search the ads in the big newspapers (www.faz.de, www.sueddeutsche.de) or in the local newspapers and the job boards of individual universities and institutions. You might also try XING.com. Job ads often specify the required educational line, especially in non-academic jobs: BTA: biological technical assistant, CTA: chemical TA, ... Find out what the equivalent is to your degree or education.
