The Department of Biology at Eastern Michigan University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Terrestrial Ecology at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning August 2012. We seek individuals with a Ph.D., postdoctoral research experience, and evidence of teaching excellence and research productivity. Successful candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be able to develop a productive research program involving undergraduate and Master's-level students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach General Ecology and an upper division course in ecology. Preference will be given to candidates who complement the expertise of the department.
