Job Title: Seasonal Shorebird Monitor (4 months with a possibility of extension) Job Description: The Nantucket Conservation Foundation, Inc. (www.nantucketconservation.org), Department of Science and Stewardship is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, self-reliant field assistant to conduct monitoring of rare shorebirds on our properties. This is an independent, field-based position. This 4 month position will be intensely focused on shorebird monitoring on the many different Conservation Foundation properties. For the right candidate the potential exists to extend this position by 2 months to focus on invasive species monitoring and management as well as applied habitat restoration.
