The 5th North American Ornithological Conference will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 14-18 August 2012. This is a joint meeting of nine ornithological organizations.
Call for Abstracts for Oral and Poster Papers: On 20 January 2012, the NAOC-V web site began receiving Abstracts for oral papers and posters, and invited symposium papers. The deadline for receipt of Abstracts for all oral and poster papers is 29 February 2012. To submit an abstract, go to http://www.naoc-v2012.com/abstract-submission, follow the instructions, and consult the on-line "how to" guide. Individuals are not required to register (pay for their registration) prior to submitting their abstract. Early Bird Registration will close on 15 May 2012 to allow individuals to register when they have received confirmation of their abstract acceptance.
