Dear ECOLOG, I'm trying to start a small project in Ecuador, sampling plant tissue. I applied for a permit to sample and remove plant tissue from the country, but never got word back, and later learned that the contacts that I had used were no longer valid. Does anyone have current information on who to send research sampling permit applications to in Ecuador? Info on the format would be useful too, as my own info is dated by a few years, and may now be too old.
