*Extended Deadline: Society of Mathematical Biology 2012 Annual Meeting* The 2012 Annual Meeting and associated research and education conference for The Society for Mathematical Biology <http://www.smb.org/> will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, July 25-28, 2012. The conference theme is /Mathematics and Biology: Interdisciplinary Connections and Living Systems. /The gathering is hosted by the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS) and the University of Tennessee. The conference will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center and associated activities will be held at NIMBioS before and after the conference.
To allow late-breaking submission of abstracts, particularly for students involved in summer research projects, the Organizing Committee is extending the deadline for abstract submission for Contributed Oral presentations until April 13, 2012, and for Contributed Poster Sessions until June 15, 2012. All abstracts submitted for Contributed Oral presentations by March 30 will be given priority. Email acceptance of abstracts submitted by the March 30 deadline will be made by April 13; acceptance for abstracts submitted by the April 13 deadline will be made by April 27.
