Assistant Professor –Tenure track – Natural Resource Sciences
The Department of Natural Resource Sciences at Thompson Rivers University, 
Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada seeks an outstanding individual to join 
its dynamic faculty as an Assistant Professor in a tenure track position 
starting Fall, 2012. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 
(including the supervision of undergraduate & masters students), conduct 
research in their field of study, and contribute to the academic life of 
the university. The successful individual has the ability to teach 
Watershed Management, and some combination of the following courses: 
Dendrology, Forest Pathology, Forest Entomology, Natural Resource Policy 
and Planning, Fire Ecology and Management, Conflict Resolution, or a grad 
course in Environmental Sciences.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Ph.D. in an area of natural resource sciences
· Evidence of quality teaching at the post-secondary level
· Evidence of research/scholarship in natural resources
· Exemplary communication skills (written, oral and electronic)
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Starting Fall, 2012.
