Dear friends,

I am teaching field courses of conservation biology using short term
experiments in several Brazilian biomes and now I am preparing a field course
focusing on macro algae (Sargassum, Padina, Ulva…). The idea is to associate
the effect of tourism with classical ecological gradients, spatial distribution
patterns, cover, richness and abundance.

I need articles comparing sampling methods, quadrat sizes, etc. but I cannot
find a good review fopr algae, just some expensive books. I would to ask for
some help about literature or other material to teach this course. My
University don’t have access to most international journals because this
service is too expensive and when using Google many articles are no accessible
as PDF. For example, I would like to use this article with the students:
http://www.springerlink.com/content/y0140517330476m2/abstract/. If someone has
access to this article I would appreciate a copy.

Thanks for any help!
