Fires, Mega Fire Conditions, Their Disturbance Legacies and Fire Management in
the 21st Century: From Nestucca to Yacolt, the 1910 Burns, Tillamook, 
Yellowstone, the Hayman Fire and the Biscuit Fire
 
The Special Session is at the 5th International Fire Ecology
and Management Congress in Portland OR, Dec. 3 - 7, 2012( 
http://afefirecongress.org/).
  
Abstracts have to be submitted by Sept. 1.
 
I am interested in
all types of factors and their interactions that created Mega Fires such as:
