The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in plant ecology, including interactions between plants and other organisms and biogeochemical cycles. We seek applicants that use creative approaches to address fundamental questions in ecology. We are particularly interested in applicants that have or would develop a strong field research program. A record of outstanding achievement and a promising research program are more important than the specific research area.
Interested candidates should submit a CV, three relevant reprints or manuscripts, brief research and teaching statements, and names and addresses of three potential evaluators online at https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/Yale/EEB. The search will remain open until the position is filled. The review of applications will begin 1 September 2012. Yale University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Yale values diversity among its students, staff, and faculty and strongly welcomes applications from women and underrepresented minorities.
