I am looking for field assistants from roughly October 20th December 16th, 2012 to help with a research project on the interaction of invasive species. The research takes place on Robinson Crusoe Island, Juan Fernández Archipelago, Chile. Our main task is identifying plants inside and outside of rabbit exclosures. Food and lodging are included while on the island. Round trip boat transportation from the mainland to the island is available for applicants from Latina America. Some understanding of Spanish is required. Applicants from Chile and those from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications are due on August 12th.
