Hi Lynette,

I recommend 'Bayesian Methods for Ecology' by Michael McCarthy,
http://www.amazon.com/Bayesian-Methods-Ecology-Michael-McCarthy/dp/0521615593.
I found it great for starting with Bayesian Methods, the book is well
written and easy to understand yet treats complex problems and provides
many examples. A lot of code is also included which is very helpful.
