Master's Position Available
I am seeking a student for a research assistantship in medical
entomology in the Department of Entomology and North Carolina State
University
(<http://www.cals.ncsu.edu/entomology/students>http://www.cals.ncsu.edu/entomology/students).
The specific project will examine the landscape ecology of container
mosquitoes, and will be heavily field based in Florida. In addition
to course-work required in Entomology at North Carolina State
University, the student will gain expertise in the use of Geographic
Information Systems (GIS), spatial statistical analysis, and the
application of population genetic information to landscape ecology.
Opportunities for continuing on to a PhD are also possible.
