Well, don't know this lady from the great State of Maine, but for some reason saved her e-mail. It is now filed.
This might not interest many. My 2nd oldest Sister, 1 of 5....geez, they just won't go away, is a rather remarkable Artist. If this is Genetic, well something real bad happened in my case. Have been told by many that my stick-figures are lousy. Anyway, here is a site that I took some time with today. Thank you. Mike Nolan....see below I'm sure many of you have seen this... an amazing website I use for class discussions in waste, but certainly has many places this can fit in. Those not familiar, if you click on any of his artwork collections (I use Running with Numbers - both collections and Midway) and click on the image, it zooms in and shows the how the large image is made up of individual items (car keys, plastic bottle caps, etc). I don't have any formal activity for this - maybe someone does? I use more as a basis for class discussion and reflection. http://www.chrisjordan.com/gallery/epu/#e-pluribus-unum Cheers, -Amy -- Amy Hunter Science Teacher Freeport High School Freeport, Maine 04032 ---------- If we are on another line or away from the phone, please leave your number, best time to return your call and your e-mail address.
