The Central Arizona-Phoenix Long-Term Ecological Research (CAP LTER) project at Arizona State University seeks a full-time research technician to provide field and analytical support for urban ecology research programs in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The position will involve a combination of administration, laboratory work, and field work with emphasis on studies of animal behavior and ecology in the field.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, four years research experience appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Desired qualifications: Evidence of a Bachelor or Master's degree in ecology or related field.
