The deadline to request funding for registration and lodging to attend the 4th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference at the Interface of Mathematics and Biology is Friday, Oct. 5. The conference will be held Nov. 17-18, 2012, at the Univ. of Tennessee Conference Center in Knoxville, TN and is hosted by the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS). The conference provides opportunities for undergraduates to present their research at the interface of biology and mathematics. Student talks and posters will be featured as well as a plenary speaker and a panel on career opportunities. Funding for lodging and registration is available for a limited number of participants.
