Venue: NSSC Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
Second Indian Biodiversity Congress (IBC 2012) is scheduled during 9 to
12th December 2012 at NSSC Auditorium (J N Tata Auditorium), Indian
Institute of Science, Bangalore. The activities planned in connection with
the Second IBC include a National Seminar with participation of over 1,000
delegates, Exhibition showcasing the rich biodiversity heritage and
culture of the country, Capacity building workshops, Photography
Competition, Civil Society Meet, Documentary Film Festival, Childrens
Biodiversity Conclave and a Politicians and Conservationists Meet on Green
Politics.
The focal theme of IBC Seminar is Biodiversity Heritage of the Western
Ghats- Challenges and Strategies for Conservation and Sustainable
Management. Besides this there will be plenary lectures and invited
presentations in 10 themes, and details are available at

You are cordially invited to register for IBC and to submit papers. The
last date for submission of abstract is 10th November, 2012.
