Position Opening: Assistant Professor, Zoology and Physiology

The Department of Zoology and Physiology at the University of Wyoming invites 
applications for a 
full-time tenure-track FACULTY POSITION in Zoology and Physiology to start 
August 2013. The 
position is at the Assistant Professor rank at the University of Wyoming/Casper 
College Center 
(website: http://www.uwyo.edu/outreach/uwcc). We seek candidates with a PhD in 
the biological 
sciences with undergraduate teaching experience and potential to develop a 
research program that 
involves undergraduate students.  The successful candidate will be expected to 
teach courses in 
evolutionary biology, genetics, writing in biology, and vertebrate biology 
(mammalogy and possibly 
either ornithology, herpetology, or ichthyology) and to contribute to the NIH 
funded Wyoming IDeA 
Networks for Biomedical Excellence (INBRE) program 
(http://www.wyominginbre.org).
