Rice University is seeking an instructor for the Spring 2013 semester to 
teach Animal Behavior (and the related Animal Behavior lab course). This 
is a temporary position. The lecture course uses evolutionary theory to 
evaluate behavioral adaptations of organisms to their environment. The lab 
course focuses on formulating and testing  hypotheses on bird behavior 
using field experiments with birds on campus.

The instructor should have an advanced degree in a relevant field and 
demonstrated ability to teach a rigorous undergraduate course

These courses are popular with Ecology and Evolutionary Biology majors, 
Biochemistry and Cell Biology majors, and non-majors. General questions
