Dear fellow ecologists,
For an illustration in an article that discusses the interaction of
large-seeded trees - such as oaks and pines - with scatter-hoarding seed
dispersers, I am looking for distribution maps of the following tree species:

- as many Quercus species as possible (especially in Asia)
- the following Pinus species

armandii
bungeana
culminicola
gerardianae
koraiensis
maximartinezii
nelsonii
parviflora
pinceana
pumila
quadrifolia
sibirica
strobiformis

While I have found a few point records for most of the species, especially the
American and European ones, extended searches for shapefiles of distribution
maps for most the species on the list have been unsuccessful.
I am happy to digitize scanned maps into shapefiles and I will happily make the
data publicly available after the publication of the article.
Any pointers are appreciated!

Thank you!
