A USGS / EPA funded research project has been initiated to investigate the relationships between herbaceous plant species richness and composition to atmospheric nitrogen deposition along large transects in the United States. A short description of the project can be found on the USGS Powell Center website (http://powellcenter.usgs.gov/) in the section on 2013 Powell Center Working Groups. If you or colleagues have collected plant data within the same plant community-type along a large transect (40 - 300 km or more; crossing a nitrogen deposition gradient) in the United States for your own primary research questions and publications and are potentially interested in sharing that data for a new secondary purpose in the present meta-analysis then please email Sam Simkin (sms242 at cornell.edu). You would of course be given credit for this secondary usage of your data, as well as an opportunity to see your data placed in the context of other datasets.
