Hey ECOLOG, I'm a long-time reader and first-time poster considering relocating to New Orleans (from Connecticut) next year. I figured some of you might know organizations worth working for in that part of the world. I'm a recent college grad (BA in Biology) who has worked for the RI Department of Environmental Management (farm pest inspector), several environmentally-minded non-profit organizations (mostly in water quality and environmental health), a university course in sustainable food systems, and a marine biology lab. Like most of you, I'm interested in sustainability broadly, especially (but not exclusively) where it intersects with economic justice and empowerment - but I also have a nerdy side, and love working with kids. So if anyone has a recommendation of individuals, organizations, or institutions worth looking into, I'm all ears. Thanks!
