NatureServe does great work that touches many areas of conservation including data collection/maintenance/distribution for at-risk species, development of an ecological community classification system (U.S. National Vegetation Classification), decision support tool development (NatureServe Vista), development of a Climate Change Vulnerability Index for species, and much more.
