A PhD graduate student assistantship is available starting in Fall 2013 in the Department of Entomology, Texas A&M University. The project will involve spatial analysis and epidemiological modeling of West Nile virus to understand mechanisms of maintenance and amplification. A B.S. and M.S. in a closely-related field, strong quantitative background including statistical skills using Program R, and experience with GIS are preferred.
