Dear all: During my summer vacation, I am interested in volunteering as a research assistant for a project focused on plant facilitation or mutualism (e.g., mycorrhizae, pollinators). I have field, lab, and computer (e.g., R programming) experience. My background is in botany, community ecology, and landscape ecology. I also have experience with science outreach and promoting science literacy.
To offset travel and living costs, a stipend or honorarium is preferred. If the volunteer position is without financial compensation, I ask that free accommodation (e.g., house sitting, field station) and food are provided.
