Utah State University-Biology seeks a highly qualified and motivated
individual wishing to pursue a graduate degree in the area of applied
entomology and insect pathology for 2013. The successful applicant
will investigate billbug biology and ecology in the Intermountain
West and study the interactions between entomopathogenic nematodes
and water conservation strategies for billbug suppression.
Required qualifications include a background in entomology, ecology,
plant sciences, or related field, experience with field research,
exposure to statistics, and an ability to work in a collaborative
environment. The graduate assistantship includes an annual stipend of
~$23K/year.
