Just a reminder that the deadline for abstract submission and early registration for the 42nd Benthic Ecology Meeting is Feb. 4, 2013!
The 42nd Benthic Ecology Meeting will be hosted by Georgia Southern University at the Hyatt Regency Savannah, GA from March 20-23, 2013. The Benthic Ecology Meeting (BEM) is one of the largest scientific meetings for marine biologists in the USA. At the 2013 BEM we anticipate more than 600 registrants; a mix of the nation's top marine ecologists and up-and-coming graduate and undergraduate students. Following BEM tradition, the 2013 meeting will be a four day event, kicking off with registration and a social Wednesday evening, scientific presentations Thursday - Saturday, and concluding with a Saturday evening banquet. A poster session will be held Thursday evening, a film festival on Friday evening and a closing banquet on Saturday evening at the Hyatt.
