Research Experience for Undergraduates: Explore the world of biology research and develop your scientific skills. www.samford.edu/reu<http://www.samford.edu/reu> With funding from the National Science Foundation, the new Samford University REU program will offer hands-on, field- and laboratory-based research experiences to US undergraduates. In this 9-week residential experience, students will work one-on-one with experienced researchers in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and geography to design, conduct, and present research related to the chemistry, genetics, and ecology of organisms, populations, and communities of Oak Mountain State Park, a large and diverse suburban park located in the southern Appalachians.
