Cardno ENTRIX is seeking an Ecological Modeler in our Knoxville, TN office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Participate in the conceptual development of population models
> Assist in the collation and analysis of data required by the modeling effort
> Help code the models
> Run various modeling scenarios
> Help evaluate the performance of the models
> Participate in the preparation of reports and publications of the
modeling efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
> PhD in Ecology or related environmental science
> One or more years of post-doctoral experience.
> Demonstrated abilities to develop ecological population models
including proficiency in higher-level programming languages (e.g.,
C++, fortran, visual basic, etc).
> One or more publications in peer-reviewed technical journals.
> Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities is a plus.
