I work in the arboriculture and forestry industry. The industry takes safety as it's number one safety priority and tool. The International Society of Arboricultural has published Best Management practices for Tree Risk Assessment. Also Tree Care industry Association has a published an American National Standard for tree care operations-- Tree, Shrub, and other woody plant Management-Standard practices (tree risk assessment a tree structure assessment).
