I am involved in a project in the upper peninsula of Michigan identifying
beech bark diesase-resistant individuals of American beech and using these
for restoration. Although I am aware of several studies that have looked
at forests before and after the disease front, I am not aware of any
serious restoration attempts, besides this project in Michigan. I would
greatly appreciate any feedback that folks could provide in this regard.

Thanks!
