Dear ECOLOG,

Can someone point me towards a technical term for the species that account for 
the upper nth 
percentile of the area below a rank-abundance distribution? I want to focus on 
the species in a tree 
community that account for the top 50% of stems, and would rather use an 
existing term than 
make up a new one.
