Hello, Can any of you direct me to a recent peer-reviewed publication that adequately quantifies the economic value of the outdoor recreation industry in the United States? I am interested in any or all outdoor recreation activities (hiking, photography, rock climbing, etc.) but I am particularly interested in the economic value of birdwatching as a hobby. Regional or local assessments, as long as they are peer-reviewed, are also fine.
