A few years back, I obtained a copy of 'Amphibian & Reptile Time Table for Minnesota: A Guide to the Seasonal Activity of Minnesota's Amphibians & Reptiles' by Randy Basus. Even though I'm not in that region and have a different species composition, I've found it a handy reference.
Does something similar exists for northern bat species? I have a bat hibernating in my basement that I want to 'release' this spring. I don't want to put him out too early, but neither do I want him to starve for lack of food. I can't tell you what species it is - I've left it alone to reduce stress. Ann
