The New Jersey School of Conservation together with the Univers Hello, The New Jersey School of Conservation together with the University of Montclair is organizing a two-week workshop on forensic entomology; the workshop will be held at the NJSchool of Conservation, in Branchville, NJ, just about 1h from New York City. Forensic entomology is the study of insects associated with organic decomposition. Students will observe and analyze the small ecosystem which is created around and on decomposing carcasses, describe post-mortem phenomena, collect entomological evidence and perform lab analysis to help establish PMI (Post-Mortem Interval) or time of death.
