Hello All, I'm doing vegetation sampling in a relatively remote location and will hopefully be collecting plant biomass samples. I will be sampling all biomass within a small sample frame and separating it by life form. Unfortunately, I'll only have access to an oven about once a week or so when I go back into town for supplies. I'm looking for advice on storing the samples for up to a week prior to properly drying them or anything that I could do to minimize rotting, molding etc. Any standard protocols or general tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! Michael
